The Mystical Way

What does it mean when the pressure of an entire circuit is cut off? How will it affect the function of that circuit? Does that circuit continue to live, or does it die off without the adrenalised energy to support it?

Gate 19. The root pressure to find “god”. The need to see the interrelatedness of all things. The need for the “transcendent”. The need for magic.

It’s being fundamentally squeezed off from gate 49, breaking the Channel of Synthesis apart. It’s so easy to forget that the entire history of humanity, and particularly this last 400-year cycle, has been rooted in belief, in religion. Without religion, our societies wouldn’t have developed the way they did. A central component to being human: you worship the gods, you pray to the gods, and the gods will take care of you. The gods know what’s best for you.

God has been created to fill the gap between what is unknowable and what we know. It fills the “Ring Pass Not”, the “beginning before the start”, before the Big Bang and the moment of singularity.

There are some things we will never know, are not possible to know. Part of the drive of what it means to be human is this curiosity to speculate and mythologise what it could be.

But the pressure to seek begins in this gate 19. And when it is cut off, there will be no more pressure to find god. There will no longer be a need to ask what happened before the start. It simply won’t be the point.

What is the meaning of existence for humanity when the concept of “god” is no longer relevant? When there is no question, therefore there is no answer?

From the 19, we move to 49, the gate of the butcher, the “sacrificed”, the “sacrificer”. In the Cosmology semester, it reads the fear of nature and the unknowable. When the sky turns black on the day of a solar eclipse in times gone past, we naturally would believe it an act of the gods. The gods, who reign authority over the people, who know the future, past, and present, who have ultimate power to decide whether a village gets to eat or not that year.

So we sacrifice. We offer up bounty to which we believe the gods will reward us for. Give us a good harvest. Give us a good afterlife.

And this is emotional. What needs to be sacrificed changes. The principles change. Our relationship to “the wrath of god” is conditioned by the highs and lows of the emotional wave.

There is nothing humans fear more than the unknown. We develop mental strategies and enact plans to protect us from imagined futures which could bring about our potential demise.

What happens when the fear goes away? When there is no longer the fear that if I don’t do X, Y and Z, I will be eternally damned to the burning pits of hell? How would we go about living our lives collectively as a species when the fear of god’s punishment disappears?

The Channel of Community is special. It’s an opposition in the wheel; many incarnate onto this plane with it defined through their sun/earth, their nodes, or by planetary activations at either end. It is the bedrock of what we understand our society to be today. This notion of the bargain, this notion of working for the tribe, for the family, for your right to aloneness when the clock strikes five.

It is the mystical bridge in this circuit. It is obviously fascinating in itself being part of the current background frequency of the Cross Of Planning, which is coming to an end in 2027 with the precession of the equinox.

This first bridge in the channel is the 37th gate: the fear of tradition. It is here that we see the maintenance of family tradition, the influence, the upholding, the respect for it. It is in this gate we hold the hope of being “touched by god”, an emotional yearning for the spiritual, for having our prayers answered.

But it is fundamentally in tension with the 40th gate: the denial of god, the pain of being alone. Here we seek to be liberated from the demands and struggles of the tribe and family. Why should I do this for you? Why should I use my ego power for you? What is in it for me and will it be worth it?

From the 40th gate there is a choice. The choice to either go the natural route to the 21st gate to exit out of throat in the tribal voice of “I have”. Or, by serendipity, luck or chance, it takes a risk and moves to the 51. The gall. The arousing. The gate of shock.

It is this shock which is necessary to wake up an individual to separate from the tribe. It is this shock which is there to empower them through courage to chart their own path of individuality. To be oneself, even if it defies all odds. This is the warrior; they are going to battle, and they are going to win.

So you leap into the void, hoping you will land on the other side into the 25. Will you make it? Is it possible? All mystical journeys have a moment of initiation where you must be willing to leap into the unknown. Remember we begin at the base of this circuit with this fear of the unknown through gate 49; it must be challenged on the mystical path.

We land on the other side in the 25, the gate of innocence, located in the G-centre, the place of love and direction. It is the coldest love you can imagine, this love of the inanimate, this love of everything and anything, alive or dead. This is where the shaman, the priest/priestess lies. They have walked and braved the mystical path, and now they act as a guiding force for others, here to show us “the way” to individuation and thus liberation.

Only after we have been initiated can we be empowered to behave as oneself. Gate 10. Self-love. We love oneself when we can act as oneself. But we cannot act as oneself unless we are separated from the homogenisation of the tribe and the collective. And if we do not act as oneself, then it is not possible to experience self-love.

This is what human design is about. It is about learning to love oneself through behaving and acting as oneself. We understand that there is no basis for self-love when one is living out what is not them. We know that the concept of “love” for the not-self is not even real, based on dependency, validation, and need from the other. To be oneself is to be free of this unhealthy dependency. We will always “need” the other, but it no longer comes with conditions that hamper the ability to be oneself.

The final gate in this circuit is gate 20, the gate of contemplation. The 10-20 forms the Channel of Awakening. To be awakened in the now is the most mystical process on the planet. This is the whole movie. To be awake, to be aware, in the now. Through our own process, through deconditioning, we gradually become more and more aware in the now.

The conditioning from others or transits never stops; the open centres which try to take over the driver through co-opting the mind do not disappear. But you see it. You watch it. You are right there with it. Yet, it does not pull you away from yourself. It does not have any authority over you anymore as a being.

The mystical process is the process of differentiation. Mysticism is rooted in the individual, because there is nothing mystical through the conditioned and homogenised constructs of spirituality and god. There is no direct connection to spirit when it is filtered through somebody else’s authority. You are god. You make up the maia. When you die, you take it all with you.

To answer my original question: what happens when the pressure of an entire circuit is cut off? Does the circuit die or continue to function?

It dies. The Mystical Way is dying. This was the way of humanity. This will not be the way of the rave. And what this means for us in this leg of our journey is that this is the time. This is the time to be awake. We have reached the completion of the mystical process. We are here to live as an empowered individual in the now. The only way to get there is by operating correctly as oneself. Honouring your strategy and authority as a means of navigating your unique line of geometry.

This is as spiritual as it gets. There is nothing like you, can’t be, never will be. It is the fine-tuning of your frequency which allows you to “touch god”. God is the essence of what it means to be you.
