Intuition.
Stillleben mit Asiatika, Ernst Czernotzky (ca. 1930s)
Your intuition is guiding you in every moment. It’s subtle — and quiet — but it’s always there. It’s always waiting for you to listen and heed it’s guidance.
It might not make rational or logical sense. In fact, I would argue it RARELY makes rational or logical sense. You might hear, feel, or sense what it’s telling you to do — but you’re scared. You tell yourself “I can’t do that, I’m afraid, XYZ will happen if I make this decision.” Intuition is scary because the results are unknown; it’s unfamiliar. In contrast, listening to fear — the voices of the mind, your past experiences, beliefs, trauma etc — is KNOWN. It feels safe. But it is only an illusion of safety. Over time, it leads to feeling stagnant, repeating the same cycle again and again because you are unable to make a different choice. You are unable to take a leap of faith.
What would it look like to radically listen to your intuition? At all times? With no doubts, fear, or second-guessing yourself?
First, you have to look at what is blocking it. Where are you numbing out, where are you submerged in a sea of noise? Are you afraid of what it’s going to tell you? You have to get comfortable with silence. In silence, you can hear the whispers of the universe. You can unlock realizations, downloads, immediate “knowing” when you clear out the debris and create space.
Next, you have to tend to the physical body. You have to treat it like the almighty temple that it is. Your body is a vessel for intuition to flow through. When the body is neglected, ignored — you simultaneously cut yourself off from your intuitive source. Where else is the guidance meant to flow through? How is it meant to land in your consciousness when the ground is polluted, when you continue to remain disembodied, checked out?
Note how many times a day you feel something intuitively and choose to ignore it. Notice how it feels in your body. Write down the intuitive hits you receive and go back to them later — what were the consequences of not listening? How did it manifest in your physical reality? Did it create emotional problems, physical problems, relational problems later on?
I believe we all know what to do deep down. I believe we are never not being guided along our path. This is what we are being asked to learn as we enter into the Aquarian Age. How to be your own teacher, guide, healer, guru. How to reclaim your individual power by recognizing your own UNIQUENESS, by embodying your individual TRUTH.
Easier said then done, when we are constantly being bombarded with information, projections, ideas, and opinions which are designed to pull you away from this instinctive knowing. Be discerning. Cultivate your physical, emotional, and intellectual sphere with knife-like precision. You are an amalgamation of what and WHO you take in. When you connect to your intuition — and begin to TRUST it — you have an internal compass no one can take away from you. You have all the tools you need for navigating the chaos of what life throws at you.
